### What does a branding studio do?

A branding studio translates the core of an organisation into one consistent identity. At Merkbaar™ that runs from strategic foundation, logo design and visual design to websites, campaigns and physical communication. All from the same core, with an unmistakable signature of its own. No noise, but a brand that confirms itself and speaks for itself.

### Who do you work for?

For every brand, small and large, national and international. The size of your business does not decide whether you need a good and beautiful brand. We work from four pillars: Brand Foundation™, Brand Design™, Brand Activation™ and Brand Platform™. Together they form the foundation of every brand, and you can start with any one of them.

### Are you an advertising agency?

Feel free to call us an advertising or marketing agency. We simply always start with the brand. From that core we design everything you would expect from an advertising agency: campaigns, websites, social, print and physical communication. Production is carried out by trusted partners, under our direction. That way every expression rings true, because everything comes from the same brand.

### Do you also make advertising signs, signage or print?

We design. Production is carried out by trusted partners such as BeVisible. We advise on the choice or arrange everything for you, even if you are in touch with the partner yourself. The design always stays with us, so everything rings true to your brand. Only looking for someone to make a sign, without the design? Then a sign company will be quicker and cheaper.

### How does a project work?

Every brand is different, but a project always follows a few steps. We start with a no-obligation introduction, because we want to know, understand and embrace your brand. Then together we decide which parts are needed to present your brand in a way that no longer needs explanation.

### Isn't building a brand expensive?

Compared to what? A brand that does not ring true costs money every day: in explanation, in doubt and in customers you only just miss. That is why we start with an introduction, and only then talk about money. Want to start small? With Kernpunt™ you bring the core of your brand down to one point in half a day.

### Where are you based?

In Apeldoorn since 2005, on the former Zwitsal site at Vlijtseweg 112. From there we work for organisations small and large, in the Netherlands and beyond. You will recognise our studio straight away: it is the only all-metal building, looking out through no fewer than 47 windows.
