Working together · Pitch policy
No pitches without value, no collaboration without intent.
We work from trust, sharpness and responsibility. That is why we only take part in a pitch when both sides invest.
Strategic brand work takes time, attention and commitment.
That is valuable, for us and for clients who want to look beyond a first idea. Not because we want to be selective, but because a collaboration only rings true when it starts on equal terms. That is why we ask for three things.
Three conditions.
One equal start.
-
01 A clear brief What is the question, for whom, and what should it achieve? Without direction, every proposal is a guess.
-
02 Serious intent A pitch is the start of a possible collaboration. Not a way of collecting ideas.
-
03 A fair fee Whoever thinks along and designs delivers value. That time comes out of the work for our regular clients.
Trust from the start. Clear, honest and direct.
What a pitch is.
A pitch is meant for getting to know each other at the start of a possible collaboration. Not for collecting free concepts or playing existing partners off against each other.
Why we choose this.
While we think along strategically and design, we are not working for our regular clients. That is why we follow the professional guidelines of the Association of Dutch Designers (BNO).
Unsure about the right form?.
Not every question calls for a pitch. Sometimes a conversation, an exploration or a small paid assignment works better, such as a Kernpunt™. We are happy to think it through with you.
